Genesis

PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya BMY Bhilai, located in Bhilai Marshalling Yard, Bhilai, Charoda, Chhattisgarh, commenced its educational journey in 1989. Initially catering up to class X, the school began with a single section. Under the guidance of its first Chairman, Mr. M K Mishra, who served as the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), and its inaugural Principal, Mr. S S Karmalkar, Kendriya Vidyalaya BMY Bhilai embarked on its journey to impart knowledge and instill values among its students.

With a rich legacy spanning over three decades, Kendriya Vidyalaya BMY Bhilai continues to uphold the values and principles set forth by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. It strives to create a conducive learning environment that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity among its students.
